English Dance to delightful live music, excellent callers and friendly community

Dance like it’s 1776 to lovely live music as was done throughout the American colonies, including right here in Annapolis. Dances are held the 3rd Saturday of each month at Annapolis Friends Meetinghouse, 351 Dubois Road, Annapolis, MD 21401. Start at 6:30 with a 30-minute lesson to learn the basics and carry on from there until 9:30. No experience or partner required. All dances are taught and then “called,” as with square and contra dances. Attire is simply comfortable clothing and soft-soled shoes. $15; students-$5; children through 5 years old-free. No registration needed; just show up. Venue is temperature controlled with filter fans for air circulation and ventilation. Plenty of parking. Join us for an evening of fun and camaraderie.
